P450K worth of marijuana seized in Zambales bust, suspect nabbed

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A total of P450,000 worth of marijuana was seized in a buy-bust operation in San Narciso town in Zambales province on Sunday.

According to Police Lieutenant Kathryn Joy Miranda, office-in-charge of the San Narciso Police, a high-value target identified as Ardee Sanani was also arrested during the bust in Barangay (village) Simminublan at around 1:45 a.m.

Confiscated from Sanani were 34 transparent plastic sachets containing dried marijuana leaves and two plastic sealed sachets containing dried marijuana bricks weighing 3,000 grams.

The suspect is now detained and will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
