Hello Ellen, I hope you evening is going well. I was going over your video when I realized I still had some questions for the recipe. I hope you don't mind answering!
1. What size soap mold are you using (Lbs/oz)
2. At 1:32, How much hemp oil did you use and was there anything other than hemp oil in that pitcher?
3. At 2:43, How much Lye and other ingredients did you use for the Lye solution?
4. At 4:28, How much of the soap mixture did you split into each of the other smaller pitchers, and how much of each of the mica blend colors did you add into each of the pitchers?

Just to CYA Ellen: While various Acts have have made Hemp derived CBD legal in all 50 states, Cannabis derived CBD is not. Even in the states that have legalized medical and recreational marijuana, it is still illegal under federal law and you will want to research your state’s law on producing CBD products for sale; with said sales only being allowed in your own state. Additional notes about selling CBD soap…if you make any medical claims, your soap falls under the jurisdiction of the FDA and you’ll want to contact the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Division of Drug Information, Small Business Assistance on how to get registered and have your soap approved. It should be noted that this is for Hemp derived CBD only as Cannabis CBD is illegal. It should also be noted that there is no research that suggests that CBD soap offers any benefit since soap is not on the skin but a couple of minutes before it is washed off.
These are really nice. CBD is a wonderful product that works in so many arenas.

This is just lovely, Ellen. I did not know citrus EO fade quickly, and that clays anchor fragrances. Thank you for teaching me this. What is sodium lactate? I've only ever heard of sodium hydroxide.
