This Week in Louisiana Politics: Build Back Better, marijuana and committee changes

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) announced the arrest of a man that shot and killed a man while children were present.

EBRSO was called to a shooting at 2605 Toulon Drive Saturday night. According to EBRSO, 46-year-old Erron Joseph called the sheriff’s office and said he and another person were involved in a shooting and were in the same apartment complex. When officers arrived at the scene, the apartment door was open. They conducted a safety test and found 31-year-old Jason Rosilez dead. Officers evacuated three children from the back bedroom where Rosilez was located. The three children were not injured. Officers detained Joseph.
