CBD company on a high with ASDA listing

CBD company Vitality, which was recently bought in a deal worth up to £10.2m, has secured a listing with ASDA.

Aston-based Vitality CBD was established in 2018 and quickly established itself as one of the leaders in the UK market, selling its products through major retailers including Boots, Tesco, Asda and Lloyds Pharmacy.

It was announced today that ASDA is now stocking 17 of Vitality CBD’s well-being and active CBD products in the retailer’s vitamin aisles and in-store pharmacies.
Vitality was snapped up in August by Yooma Wellness, a Canadian group which is using its dual-listing on the Canadian and Aquis stock exchanges to help support its buy-and-build strategy.

Jacqueline Cappello-Wood, ASDA’s senior buying manager for healthcare, said: “We are proud that ASDA will now be stocking Vitality CBD’s products, and will be the first supermarket to offer customers access to the full Vitality CBD Active range. At ASDA, it has always been a priority to look after the entirety of our customer’s well-being needs, so CBD is a great addition to our range. Customers will now have access to our fully trained ASDA pharmacists, who can offer advice and support on any aspects of their health and well-ness needs.”
