Locations of interest in the Covid-19 Delta outbreak: August 31

One new location of interest has been added to the list by the Ministry of Health, as Auckland grapples with torrential rains and flooding that began on Monday evening.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Crystal Laundromat in Manurewa was the only new location added, listed as visited by a case on August 24, between 11.45am and 2pm.

An Auckland apartment building was added in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak, on Monday.

The Met Apartments, on 11 Durham Street East in Auckland’s CBD, has been added as a location for six different days – August 19, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.

For half of those days, everyone on level five of the building during each period of exposure is considered potential close contact.

Where the locations of interest are

Most locations of interest are in Auckland as the outbreak centres on the region.

Universities, high schools, buses and supermarkets are all on the list.

The full list of locations of interest and visit times released by the Ministry of Health are below.

Note that locations are being removed from the list after 18 days. This is because after this length of time the Ministry of Health no longer considers them a transmission or public health risk.

This list can be viewed in two ways: Date of visit (locations added today have the word NEW beside them) or, if you switch the toggle to Date included, newly added locations appear at the top of the list.

If you were at a location of interest at one of the specified times, you will likely need to self-isolate and be tested. Follow the instructions for that location on the Ministry of Health website and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice on testing.

This list is automatically updated as soon as locations of interest appear on the Ministry of Health website.
