  1. I love Matt Risinger! I love how he get’s really thorough. I love how he allows comments on his posts. Keep doing what you do Matt. Maestro.

  2. Are there any major US domestic sources of hempCrete? I am interested in building houses out of it. Wood is too valuable for the earth to tear down to frame a house. Thank you.

  3. I liked that he was friendly as well as being very informative about his product. Some of the interviewees are so focused on their product they don't crack a smile.

  4. IS BUILDING WITH WOOD A CHEAPER WAY OF BUILDING YOUR HOMES IN YOUR LOCALITY INSTEAD OF USING BRICKS CEMENT?
BUT IN MY PLACE , IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO GET WOOD BUILDINGS? SO WE DONT BUILD HERE WOOD HOUSES!

  5. I'd love to see more videos from you on eco-friendly/smart methodologies/materials. A lot of "green"/energy efficient practices are misrepresented. Pros and cons.

  6. Everything about this and select other "green" (or greenish) building methodologies and materials are great — except for, primarily, one thing: The price. One reason, perhaps, why MR is using Rockwool insulation and not this. As an aside, from what I've read, hemp may be one of the most useful plants on the planet.

  7. Oh vow, so new, much innovation. My house is 80 years old, built in central Europe, using the very same technique. But Im happy to see the simple tech being used once again.

  8. Not quite convinced concerning the flamability. The torch already damaged the wall as it looked and if you have a huge wildfire i would guess the effect would be worse. Then again, most buildings after a wildfire are inhabitable, right?
From what an architect told me who put straw into his wallsections, i guess it is an exelent isolator to keep stable temperatures inside.

  9. Tamping all that hempcrete down seems labor intensive. The hempcrete guy and the 3-D printer guy should get together and do 3-D printed hempcrete houses.

  10. Carbon sequestering forests idea is the dumbest most upside-down obvious mistake any engineer could think. The carbon GROWS GREEN, the green doesn't "sequester and thereby reduce" atm carbon. No atm carbon no green. atm carbon is the earth's only structural plant food. Think about it. More carbon, more green. Less starvation, better yields. GET A CLUE.

  11. Matt !!! Wwwwhere has this video been "parked" for the last 10 months ???? Absolutely amazing. Thank you very much for this! Wow. "Hemp Concrete" …. Who knew?
